Rio Pore Perfection - Did It Work For Me?

I recently purchased the Rio Pore Perfection as it looked like a great at-home salon device that vacuums out congested pores,  I wanted to see if it worked and how my skin would look and feel.

To get started I downloaded the app called pore perfection then washed my face, I plugged the device into my iPad and opened the app, the device has a built-in camera and I could see my pores in real-time, they looked really big due to the 10x magnification I stated with the small head and treatment level one as recommended in the instruction booklet, I moved the device over my skin and I could see spots blackheads and sebum being vacuumed out of my pores, even on level one the vacuum seemed strong enough for me.

I do look after my skin by cleansing twice a daily so I was quite shocked to see that I had all that yucky stuff coming out, I used it for about five minutes I did want to do more as it’s quite addictive and you just want to keep going my face did have some redness after but I washed it again followed by my moisturiser.

I enjoyed using Rio pore perfection and I will continue every week at level one until my skin gets used to it, it has 3 levels of vacuum strength, you don’t have to you the app if you do not want to it also has a blue light built in this targets surface bacteria which cause redness and inflammation the light only works when it is not connected to the app.

I purchased the Mint green option, which is only available at QVC UK it also comes in other colour options grape which is a lovely purple and blush a pretty baby pink colour.

What’s in the box:
Treatment heads
1x Large full face
1x Small nose area
1x Precision Blackhead extraction
Protective pouch
USB charging cable
Instruction booklet

Just a quick note you will need to use your phone charging cable to connect to your chosen tablet or device.
RRP £129.99, Last seen on QVC for £115, Very sale offer £110, Studio £94.99.

Joseph Joseph Toothbrush Holder

I wouldn’t normally go out of my way to review a toothbrush holder but this is amazing, since buying it has made a great addition to my bathroom.

My toothpaste and floss now have a perfect place and we each have a designated place for our toothbrushes making my bathroom look nice and tidy, I find nothing more annoying than toothbrushes and toothpaste scattered all over the bathroom shelf, so happy this is a thing of the past.

What I really like about this holder is the six separate compartments, it also comes apart which makes it easy to clean. I purchased mine from next for £16, it is also available from Argos for £15.

JML Pill-O-Pad

Whilst I was sitting at home recovering from foot surgery I discovered Pill O Pad on QVC, which is a support cushion for iPads, kindles, books etc, as I use my iPad quite a lot so I thought this would make viewing my iPad much easier and stable so I immediately placed my order.

I really like that it offers three different viewing angles to optimise your desired view. I have used it every day since buying it, it’s super lightweight and sturdy leaving my hands completely free giving a relaxing viewing experience it also takes the strain off my neck from looking downwards although some times I prop it up on a cushion to make it a little bit higher. The Pill O Pad is portable and can be used anywhere, it also has a handy side pocket to store glasses or some earphones, it does have a removable zip cover but it is recommended to spot clean only. This is available to but from QVC online and JML online for £19.99.

I just recently started redecorating my bathroom, I was thinking about getting some nice Yankee candles with lids as my bathroom can get quite damp, I had to go-to boots this weekend to pick up a click and collect a parcel and whilst I was there I spotted this Yankee Candle Favourites Gift Set, and how could I resist as it had been reduced from £50 to just £25 pounds at my local Boots store and was just what I wanted.

Each gift set contains:

  • 1x medium jar candle (Lemon Lavender)
  • 1x small jar candle (Cherry Blossom)
  • 3x votive candles (Coconut Splash, Passion Fruit Martini, Vanilla Cupcake)
  • 12x tealights (The Last Paradise)

Medium Jar Candle Burn Time: Up to 90 hours, Small Jar Candle Burn Time: Up to 40 hours, Votive Candle Burn Time: Up to 15 hours, Tealight Candle Burn Time: Up to 6 hours

I love Yankee candles because they are true to fragrance and they last a long time. My favourite in the set it lemon lavender it’s a very fresh lemon fragrance mixed with lavender so it can be used at any time of the day, also at this amazing price, it would make a great gift.
